Joseph Alvin Stoll, 95, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at his home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2006 at St. Luke�s United Methodist Church, 9420 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2006 at the church. Burial in Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Joseph was born January 27, 1911 in Hickory County, MO to Peter J. and Fannie (Schindler) Stoll. Mr. Stoll was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, proudly serving in Italy where he earned a purple heart. After thirty years of delivering the mail, Joe retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a family man, who loved to care for his wife, children and grandchildren. Joe enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, hunting, and camping with his family. A lifelong Methodist, he was an active member at both Linwood Methodist Church and St. Luke�s United Methodist Church. Joseph is survived by his wife of 69 years, Genniel (Morris) Stoll; daughters Joniel Worley and husband Ross, Barbara Orrison and husband Richard; grandchildren Darcinda Willis, Brent and Huong Worley, Stacia and Johnny Childs, Janine and Troy Gordon, Jacob Orrison; great-grandchildren Jasmine and Genely Gordon, Seth Andrew Childs; a host of family members, and friends, among them Hang and Ngoc. Mr. Stoll was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 3 sisters and grandson Todd Willis.
