June Genniel Stoll, 93, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 at her home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2007 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 9420 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64138. Visitation will be 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial in Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church. Genniel was born December 19, 1913 in Jerico Springs, MO to Hiram Seth and Lillie May (Clark) Morris. She worked as a Bookkeeper for Riss and Co. before starting her family. Mrs. Stoll had been involved in school PTA, and as a leader of Blue Birds and Camp Fire Girls. She enjoyed traveling and fishing with her family, as well as playing bridge. Genniel loved her family dearly and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Genniel liked bird watching, her flower gardens and various collections; rocks, stamps and post cards to name a few. Mrs. Stoll was an active member at both Linwood Methodist Church and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stoll is survived by her daughters Joniel Worley and husband Ross, Barbara June Orrison and husband Richard; grandchildren Darcinda June Willis, Brent and Huong Worley, Stacia Genniel and Johnny Childs, Janine and Troy Gordon, Jacob Orrison; great-grandchildren Jasmine and Genely Gordon, Seth and Reese Childs; and many friends, among them Hang and Ngoc; and cat Fonteinne. Genniel was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Joseph A. Stoll in October of 2006; grandson Todd Willis; two brothers and four sisters.
