Jane R. Stolle, 66, Independence, MO passed away unexpectedly Feb. 12, 2018. Services will begin at 11:30 am, Friday, Feb. 16 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 17200 E. 39th St. S., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Oak Ridge Memory
Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am before the service at church. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Jane was born March 10, 1951 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Helen (Evers) Bartz. She graduated from Cleveland High School before earning her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from the Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis. Following her graduation from Nurses Training, she worked at the Lutheran Hospital in St. Louis. She was very active at St. Paul Lutheran Church where her husband recently retired as Pastor. She served as the Sunday School Superintendent, was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and had worked in the Precious Lambs nursery for infants. She also volunteered every year at the Christmas Store in Kansas City. She enjoyed cross stitching, quilting and was a great cook. Most of all she enjoyed caring for her granddaughters and family. Jane was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of forty-three years Rev. Gary Stolle, of the home; daughter Amy Ford and husband Chris, Independence, MO; granddaughters Jasmine and Layla Ford; brothers Richard Bartz and wife Virginia; Carl Bartz and wife Bonnie, all of St. Louis South County, MO; sister-in-law Joan Luker and husband David, Houston, TX; five nieces and four nephews.
