Doris Stomboly

Doris J. Stomboly, 86, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away June 7, 2014. Services will be 2 pm, Wed., June 11 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Doris was born June 2, 1928 in Bartlesville, OK and graduated from Graceland College. She was the Night School Coordinator for Wentworth Military Academy from 1975 until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed observing humming birds and animals, going to garage sales and playing Bingo. She was also a terrific typist, a user of sign-language and an organist who had played in her church in earlier years. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Isaac Stomboly and son Bobby Stomboly. She is survived by daughters Shirley Silvey, Independence, MO; Pam Baldwin and husband Bob, Lee’s Summit, MO; Tina Neitzert, Corder, MO; Alice Stomboly, Blue Springs, MO; sons Michael Stomboly, Blue Springs, MO; Lindal Grechus and wife Marilyn, Sedalia, MO; Carl Robinson, Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
