Cody Dean Storey

Cody D. Storey, 18, Kansas City, MO passed away unexpectedly Nov. 19. 2016. Memorial services will be 10 am, Monday, Nov. 28 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. inurnment at Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Cody was born March 29, 1998 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Van Horn High School in the Class of 2016 He was star athlete in baseball and football and an Honor Student. He was awarded the Missouri Glory Award and the McCoy Award for academic achievement. He had played summer baseball for American Legion Post #21. Cody is survived by his parents Jennifer and Rick Storey, sister Tori Storey; brother Jacob Storey, all of the home; grandparents Gene and Nancy Storey, Independence, MO and grandmother Alice Estes, Blue Water, NM.
