J.D. Stout

December 26, 1943 — August 15, 2013

J.D. Stout, 69, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

J.D. was born December 26, 1943 near Siloam Springs, MO the son of James W. and Glen Doris (Watkins) Stout. He worked for over 20 years with the City of Blue Springs water department before retiring. J.D. owned and operated True Photography with his wife, photographing weddings and wildlife. J.D. enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting and was a past member of the Missouri Bow Hunters Association.

Survivors include his loving wife Debby Stout of 31 years; daughters, Teresa Stout, and Cheri Davidson and husband Richard; sons, James Stout, Eric Stout, David Bennett and wife Karen; grandchildren, Zachary, Zayne, Paul and Roxanne; great granddaughter, Airianna; sisters, Glenda Arnold, Brenda Lundquist, Janice Curtis and Shirley Brogna and husband Tony; bothers, Charles Stout and wife Carla, Billy Stout and wife Pat, Jack Stout and wife Kathy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanette Stout; son, Michael Stout; sister, Nadine Machucca; and his parents.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Monday, August 19, 2013 at Eastside Baptist Church; 19901 Missouri Hwy 78, Independence, MO 64057. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to CAPA – Child Abuse Prevention Association.
