Noah William Stratton, 11, Independence, MO passed away July 25, 2014 as a result of a tragic auto accident. Services will be 11 am, Sat., Aug. 2 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to Noah Stratton Memorial Fund, c/o U.S. Bank, 18781 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64057. Noah was born July 17, 2003 in Independence and was a student at Three Trails Elementary School, where he was preparing to enter the sixth grade. He was an athlete who played baseball, football and loved to boat and fish. He was popular, full of life and loved hanging out with his many buddies. Noah is survived by his father William Stratton, of the home; mother Amanda Horton, Independence, MO; brothers Colin Stratton & Drake Downing; sisters Katelyn & Danielle Kidwell; paternal grandmother Jennifer Morlan, Independence, MO; maternal grandmother Mary Kessner and husband Terry, Maysville, MO; paternal grandfather Joel Stratton, Independence, MO and many other family members.
