Beulah Mae Strohm, 89, Independence, MO passed away Aug. 3, 2012. Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, Aug. 7 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service. The family suggests contributions to Hospice Advantage Blue Springs, 1201 N.W. Jefferson Rd., #E, Blue Springs, MO 64015-6478.
Beulah was born May 30, 1923 in Independence, MO and lived in Oklahoma until returning to Independence in 1942. She was employed by Glasco Electric for 18 years and retired from the Lipton Co. in 1989 after 25 years.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband Jesse E. Strohm in 1963; her parents Gracie Swihart in 1980 and Sheldon Swihart in 1982; her brother Roy Swihart in 1949 and her dear friend Frank Cannon in 1980. She is survived by several cousins and many friends.
