Henry R. “Hank” Stucker, 89, formerly of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away June 4, 2016 at the Missouri State Veterans’ Home in Warrensburg, MO. Services will be at 10 am, Thursday, June 9 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO; interment with Military Honors at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Missouri State Veterans’ Home, 1300 Veterans’ Rd., Warrensburg, MO 64093.
Hank was born July 27, 1926 in Kansas City, MO. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served in WW II and the Korean War. He worked at Ruppert’s Die Casting Plant for twenty-two years then at the Ford Plant for twenty-three years before retiring in 1989. He enjoyed spending weekends at his cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was a member of the Elks Lodge at the lake.
Hank was preceded in death by his wife Norene Stucker and brother Charlie Stucker.
He is survived by son Larry Stucker and wife D.J., Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Patricia Cline and husband Roy, Dillsburg, PA; brother Bill Stucker and wife Lela, Chillicothe, MO; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
