Virginia Stuckey

May 15, 1918 — June 21, 2013

Virginia E. Stuckey, 95, of Independence, MO passed away June 21, 2013 at the Villages of Jackson Creek. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Wednesday, June 26, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Virginia was born May 15, 1918 in Trenton, MO to Parker C. and Willah (Winter) Trueblood. On August 14, 1946, she married Russell Stuckey, and to their union, one son was born. Virginia was a wonderful homemaker, who supported her husband in his business, Stuckey and Son Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company. She was a faithful member of the Baptist church, attending New Haven, Swope Park, Birchwood and First Baptist of Independence congregations through the years. She is survived by her husband, Russell Stuckey; and son Jimmy Stuckey; along with many other loving family members and friends.
