Fran E. Sullivan, 67, Sugar Creek, MO passed away April 1, 2012. A memorial visitation will be from 2-5 pm, Sat., April 7 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Fran was born May 22, 1944 to Donald L. and Frances (Boynton) Munro in Detroit, MI. She was known to the music world as “WONS – Wife of Niki Sullivan” as her husband Niki was the original rhythm guitarist with Buddy Holly and the Crickets. She was the office manager at the office of Dr. David Stamos, DDS, for fourteen years and had been in the dental field for thirty-five years. She enjoyed golf, gardening her flowers and playing Bridge with her Bridge group who met once a month for twenty-five years. Most of all she was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother to her family who meant the world to her. To those who knew her, it was her sense of humor and undying love that made her so special. She will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Fran was preceded in death by her husband Niki Sullivan in 2004. She is survived by twin sons Eryn Sullivan and wife Stacey; Marty Sullivan and wife Lanett, all of Sugar Creek, MO; grandchildren Holly and Mason Sullivan; brother Richard Munro and wife Kandy, Detroit, MI; sister Loretta Trevarrow and husband Gil, Cedarville, MI; and sister-in-law Renetta Kay Jeanes and husband Tim, Johnson City, TX.
