Lorna Sullivan, 85, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014. A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday March 29 at Carson Speaks Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the chapel.
Lorna was born June 13, 1928 in St. Louis, MO to Earl Jacobs and Elizabeth (Byers) as one of three children. She graduated from Northeast High School and raised three wonderful children from previous marriages. Lorna was a dedicated employee of McKesson Chemical for over 20 years. She enjoyed staying at home with her yard work and reading and occasionally traveling with family. She is loved and will be missed.
Lorna is survived by daughter, Linda Arnold (Marvin) of Canyon Lake, TX; son, Eugene Sullivan, Jr. of Buckner, MO; brother, Sam White, Jr. (Mary) of North Kingston, RI; grandchildren, Matthew Hough, Michael Sullivan Jennifer Karvasa, and Michelle Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Sam White, Sr.; son, Steve Sullivan; and sister, Mary Giuliucchi.
