Johnnie L. Sullivant, 101, of Independence, died November 15, 2006 at Rosewood Health Center. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18th from 1-2 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee�s Summit, Mo. Johnnie was born in Camp, Arkansas on February 16, 1905 the daughter of John and Jane (Cunningham) Isenhower. She loved her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, crochet, tatting, and quilting. Johnnie enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She was retired as a seamstress for Barbie Frock�s. Johnnie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Navy Club and the Women�s group at Watson Memorial Methodist Church. She married Eugene F. Sullivant in Fulton County, Arkansas on February 24, 1923, he preceded her in death on May 25, 1988. She was also predeceased by a son, Glenn Sullivant on April 24, 1981. Survivors include a daughter Betty Lefler and husband Wayne of Independence, four granddaughters, Kay Comer, Linda Birge, Debby Dawson and Pat Dillion; four great grandchildren, Tabitha Wasson, Brian Birge, Elizabeth Comer and Steven Dawson and four great great grandchildren, Savannah and Zoe Wasson and Samuel and Nicholas Dawson. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th St., Independence, Mo. 64055.
