Susan Harris

Susan L. Harris, 73, Independence, MO, resident of Villages of Jackson Creek Assisted Living, passed away September 17, 2023.  Ms. Harris was born October 12, 1949 .  She retired from the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center where she worked in Human Resources.  Susan was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Royals fan attending many games with her children and grandchildren and loved playing bingo and bridge.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Michelle Barnes and son-in-law, Dennis Barnes, daughter, Tanya Christine Cundiff and son-in-law, Jason Cundiff, four grandchildren, Jennifer Packham (Jeremy), Ashley Cundiff, Kristopher Spearman and Tyler Spearman and three great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson, and Riley as well as her two sisters, Patricia Cutler and Donna McComb (Francis) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Susan was preceded in death by her Father, James Leavitt, Mother, Eleanor Cutler, Brother, John Cutler and husband, Ronald Harris.

Cremation.  Arrangements handled by Speaks Suburban Chapel.  Internment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date.
