Bonita Louise Swatzell

Bonita Louise Swatzell, 68 of Independence passed away Thu, Apr. 14, 2005. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Tue, Apr 19, 2005 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with visitation being held from 1 - 2:00 pm. Inurnment will be at a later date. Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society. Bonita was born on Jun 19, 1936 to Chester and Freda (Wray) Whitebread in Topeka, KS. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed Sewing, Crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was affectionately know as "Grandma� by family and friends. Bonita was preceded in death by her granddaughter Amy Noel Swatzell in 1990 and by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband Kenneth Swatzell of Independence; two sons and their wives, Clay and Eileen Swatzell of Independence and Mark and Rae Lynne Swatzell of Grain Valley, MO. A Daughter and her husband, Brenda and W. Kent Rodman of Kansas City, MO. Five grandchildren, Renee Kuhn, Sarah Yocum and husband Jacob, Wendy Swatzell, Christopher Swatzell and Jake Swatzell. Three brothers, Chester Whitebread, Mickey Whitebread and Ted Whitebread. Two sisters, Sue Hodges and Beverly Kurth.
