Emma Mae Sweem

Mae Sweem, 89, Independence, MO passed away June 29, 2006. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation. Mae was born June 15, 1917 in Argentine, KS. She graduated from Argentine High School and served in the U.S. Army in WWII. She was a medical transcriber and had worked at St. Luke�s Hospital and MCI. Mae was a member of the American Legion Women�s Auxiliary and Eastern Star. She was a great cook and loved to play the organ and sing. She was preceded in death by husbands H.J. Bell and Clarence Sweem. She is survived by daughter Linda Gregory, K.C., MO; granddaughter Angela Pollack and husband Oskar, Independence, MO; and great-grandchildren Ryan, Elliot and Julie.
