Lillian A. Sweem, 84, Sibley, MO passed away Feb. 13. 2017. Services will be 10 am, Friday, Feb. 17 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday at the chapel.
Lillian was born Nov. 2, 1932 in Cameron, MO and graduated from Cameron High School. She enjoyed painting and traveling. She and her husband Ervin spent more than 25 winters in Arizona where they made many friends. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Saint Haven Restoration Group in Sibley, MO. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Ervin W. Sweem. She is survived by daughter Terri May, Independence, MO; son Sam Sweem and wife Donna, Lee’s Summit, MO; granddaughter Michele Coffey, Sibley, MO; great-grandchildren CC Ray Koontz, Harold L. Chitwood and step-grandchildren Katherine Dougherty, Christopher Emanuel.
