Sandra S. Swenson

Sandy Swenson, 56, of Sugar Creek, MO, passed away Sunday, January 22nd at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Kansas City. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 27th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be 12:00 noon on Friday in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Sandy was born September 2, 1949 in Nevada, MO to Willie and Leona (Reeves) Garland. She was a proud veteran having served in the U.S. Army. Ms. Swenson is survived by her son Tony Garland and wife Tisha; daughter Kristina Arocha and husband Blain; sister Vicki Purvis and husband Larry, brothers David Garland, Dennis Garland and wife Vickie, John Garland and wife Sarah; two grandchildren Matthew and Andrew; a host of family and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents.
