Della Grace Tabor, 90 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Villages of Jackson Creek, Memory Care Unit. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday at the Crawford Cemetery in Everton, AR. Donations may be made in her name to Sycamore Hills Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. Della was born February 8, 1927 in Everton, AR to Samuel Truman and Dixie (Young) Williams. She spent her early life in Arkansas and graduated from Olvey High School in Everton, AR. She had worked for Woodmen of the World for 23 years until she retired in 1989. She later moved to Independence in 1992. She enjoyed yard work and other outdoor activities. She was an active member of Sycamore Hills Baptist Church. Survivors include; a daughter, Karen Muelleman and husband Peter of Independence, MO; a brother, Curt Williams and wife Nina of Harrison, AR; a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Williams of Harrison, AR and 4 grandchildren, Joe, Becky, PJ and Andy. She was preceded in death by her husband JB Tabor in 1999 and 4 siblings, Cleo Shipman, Eugene Williams, Orvilla Dickey and Naomi Johnson.
