Mark Taegel Jr., 29, of Independence, MO passed away May 8, 2014. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, at the Suburban Chapel. Mark was born January 11, 1985 to Mark Taegel Sr. and Laurie Mitchener. He was very passionate about his family and friends. Mark wanted the very best for his two boys, and would do anything for them. If you were his friend, you were his family. He is survived by his soul mate, Misty Reyes; two children, Noah and Brandon Taegel; father, Mark Taegel Sr. and wife Lori; mother Laurie Hamilton and husband Don; brother, Scott Hamilton; step brother, Chad Gauger; step sister, Lora Waldo; grandparents, Peggy Mey, Bud and Pat Hamilton, Lauren Mitchener and Kitty Wendt; nieces and nephews, Olivia and Peyton Waldo, Grace and Russel Gauger, and Izabela Flores; along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
