Tamara Lynn "Tami" Rogers

Tamara (Tami) Lynn Rogers of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away on January 4, 2025 due to complications during a difficult surgery. She was 62 years old. Cremation is planned with a Celebration of Tami’s life to be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Saturday at the chapel.

Tami was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Wanda Foster of Lake Tapawingo, Missouri. She is survived by her son Gary Clark of Blue Springs, Missouri, her daughter Jessica Rogers of Chillicothe, Missouri, her brother Tim Foster of Claremore Oklahoma, her bother Todd Foster of Parkville Missouri, four grandchildren and many other caring family members and friends. 

Tami was born in Kansas City, Missouri in 1963. Her family moved to Warrensburg, Missouri before her second birthday. Tami graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1981. Not long after graduation she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma with her parents. In the mid 1980's she moved with Bill and Wanda to Blue Springs, Missouri who started a dry cleaning business. Tami worked there for several years until her health limited her ability to work on a regular basis. 

From an early age Tami was crazy about any kind of animal. She greatly enjoyed the family cats and dogs as well as other pets over the years which included rabbits, squirrels, quail and fish. She also had her own horse for a few years. As she grew older, she developed an interest in growing plants and flowers. She also had an extensive collection of "lawn ornaments" owning a variety that could be rivaled by very few. 

Tami loved her family and was a kind, giving person. We miss her and love her very much!
