Novella Tann

Novella Tann, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away Monday, July 12, 2004. Services will be 11 am Friday, July 16th at George C. Carson & Sons Funeral Home; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 am until service time. Novella was born March 1, 1914 in Chadwick, MO to Press and Irene Keesee Rozell. She was a schoolteacher for over 35 years, retiring from the Kansas City School District. She was a member of Mt. Washington Baptist Church. Novella was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Fred Weisiger and Pete Tann; children, Jim Weisiger, Donna Novak; and five brothers and sisters. She is survived by her grandson, Dan Novak of Sugar Creek, MO; granddaughter, Diane Bruckner of Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren, Allison Bruckner, Abbey Novak, Katie Bruckner, and Paige Novak; a sister, Ruth Mooney of Rogersville, MO.
