Daniel M. Tartaglia, Jr.

Daniel M. Tartaglia, Jr., 61, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, June 3, 2005 at his home. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Burial will take place in Floral Hills East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Blue Springs or Cancer Action. Dan was born February, 9, 1944 in Rochester, NY to Daniel M. and Angelina (Quadrozzi) Tartaglia, Sr. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Blue Springs. Dan retired in 2004 from Harmon Electronics after 21 years of service as a Systems Analyst. He was best known for his unique sense of humor. Mr. Tartaglia is survived by his wife of 35 years, Donna (Gregory), children D. Michael Tartaglia, III, Karla Tartaglia and Greg Tartaglia; grandsons Daniel M. Tartaglia, IV and Joseph Tartaglia; three brothers Steve, Tom and Bob Tartaglia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
