Eugene Ross Taylor

Eugene Ross Taylor, 81, of Independence, MO, passed away Friday, June 29, 2007 at Monterey Park Care Center. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors 3:30 p.m. in Stover Cemetery, Stover, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or to the church. Eugene was born August 9, 1925 in Stover, MO to Ogal and Gladys (Chism) Taylor. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife of 60 years, Juanita Taylor; daughter Marlene Mitchell and husband Gerry; grandson Jeffrey Mitchell and wife Wendy; three great-grandchildren Tyler, Mackenzie and Katelyn; brother Lorren Taylor and wife Edna; brothers-in-law James Garrison and wife Stella, Warren Wilson and wife Linda; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
