Larry Taylor

Larry Taylor, 58, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Larry was born January 9, 1954, to parents Charles and Lillian (Snow) Taylor. He met his wife, Debra, while in school at Van Horn High, and continued to love her all his life. Larry was employed by Performance Contracting from 1980- 2000 and presently worked for Four State Supply in Lenexa, KS. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to everyone he met. Larry leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Debra Taylor; daughter, Cheryl Lynn Taylor-Burnett (Michael D.); mother, Lillian J. Taylor; grandson, Michael A Burnett, and granddaughter Megan Elizabeth Burnett; brothers, Jimmy Taylor (Retta), and Charles Lyle Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Ronald Wayne Taylor. A time of gathering will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO, 64055. All are welcome to attend.
