Lynn H. Taylor, 49 of Independence, MO passed away Monday, June 5, 2006 at Research Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2006 at the St. Luke�s United Methodist Church in Kansas City, MO. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Friday in the Carmack Corners Cemetery near Albany, MO. The family will greet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faithful Servant Memorial Fund Church of God (7th Day), P.O. Box 33677, Denver, CO 80233. Lynn was born November 8, 1956 in Los Angeles, CA to Floyd Edgar and Evelyn (Mannello) Taylor. He spent his early life in California before graduating from Rockmont College and the Summit School of Theology in Colorado. He served as a minister for 21 years with the Church of God (7th Day) in Dayton, TN, Wister, OK, Stanberry, MO, St. Joseph, MO and Kansas City, MO. He had also served as a Hospital Chaplain and a Police Chaplain. He was married to Wanda (O�Banion) on December 5, 1976, she survives of the home. Other survivors include; 3 sons, Bradley Taylor of Independence, MO, Scott Taylor of St. Joseph, MO and Joe Taylor of Meadville, MO; 2 brothers, Bill Taylor of Stockton, CA and Albert Taylor of Ripon, CA; a sister, Jan Watkins of Stockton, CA and 3 grandchildren, Mariah, Derrick and Corbin Taylor of Independence, MO.
