Norma E. Taylor

Norma E. Taylor, 85, of Independence, MO, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006. She was a resident of Rosewood Health Care Center at The Groves. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. Burial in Lee�s Summit Historical Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Groves Endowment Fund. Norma was born April 26, 1921 in Lee�s Summit, MO to Arno Benton and Laura (Necessary) Maddux. Mrs. Taylor was a former member of the Slover Park Congregation of the Community of Christ Church. She loved holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, and getting together with her family. Norma is survived by her sons David H. Taylor, H. Spencer Taylor and his wife Jackie, daughters Lou Ann Taylor, Sharon K. Taylor Northcutt; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and special friend Christina Nagel. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Taylor in 1986.
