Ted Taylor

Ted Taylor 80, of Grapevine, TX entered into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ on June 27, 2022 at the Meadowood Assisted Living Center, Grapevine, TX. Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday July 7, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Buckner, 131 S Hudson, Buckner, MO 64016. Burial to follow in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until service time Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to First Baptist Church Buckner. Ted spent his career from a young age until his retirement at Sutherland Lumber Company. He will be remembered as a humble man of great faith who loved his family and His Lord. Ted rose early each morning to study his Bible and to pray for his family, a gift they will continue to benefit from in the years to come. He loved to bake favorite desserts for family and to play games around his kitchen table. He will be dearly missed. Ted will be lovingly remembered by 2 sons, Randy Taylor and wife Denise of Colleyville, TX and Scott Taylor and wife Annette of Trinity, TX. Two sisters Betty Wages and Mary Cottrell. Step-children Robert, Randy, Becky and their spouses. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren will carry his memory and faith in their hearts.
