Velia Marie Tebeck (Maciel)

Velia Tebeck, 82, of Independence, MO passed away March 19, 2018. Velia was born December 14, 1935 in Salina, KS. She attended Redemtorist High School in Kansas City. Velia lived most of her life in Independence, MO. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Frank, watching the Royals, Chiefs and tennis, her exercise classes, and going to watch both Valentino and Victor play with their bands. Velia is survived by her husband, Frank Anthony Tebeck; daughter, Michelle M. Tebeck Pena and husband Victor N.; two sons, Eric Anthony Tebeck and Scott Michael Tebeck and wife Cecilia; grandchildren, Valentino Christian Francesco Pena, Adam and Anthony Wheeler, Nastasia Elise Tebeck, Alexandra Raquel Tebeck and Cassandra Renee Tebeck; three great grandchildren; sister, Anita Wood; brothers, Clement and Leonard Maciel; as well as many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO.
