Julian Charles Tedder, 82, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at Norfleet Baptist Church; 5512 Norfleet Rd, Kansas City, MO 64133. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorial contributions are suggested to Norfleet Baptist Church.
J. was born August 18, 1929 in Morrilton, AR, the son of Frank and Alpha Mae (Armstrong) Tedder. He was a 1967 graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. J. and was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1952. J. pastored at local churches including Garden City, Tipton and Odessa. He served as Trustee for the Missouri Baptist Foundation, Executive Board member for six years and Director of Missions for Heartland Association for over 13 years.
J. was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife Mary Belle Tedder of 54 years; sons, John and Jim Tedder and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
