Pamala Beth Telford, 58 of Independence, MO, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a memorial gathering to be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, October 18, 2018 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Donations may be made in her name to Furry Friends Rescue. Pamala was born December 27, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to Fred and Carol (Shambow) Birch. She grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated from Winetonka High School in Kansas City, MO. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was an animal lover and enjoyed flowers, gardening and fishing. She had worked in the printing industry for over 20 years. She had also worked as a veterinarian technician for 6 years and her and her husband owned and operated 1/2 Pints Frozen Custard in Clinton, MO for several years. Survivors include; her husband Mike Telford of the home; 2 daughters, Heather Bokarae and husband Brett of Holt, MO and Melissa Telford and grand dog Wenston of Grain Valley, MO; her mother, Carol Gear and longtime companion Jerry Highfill of Liberty, MO; a brother, Fred Birch and wife Tammy of Independence, MO; 2 sisters, Karen Torchia of Liberty, MO and Michele Harris and husband John of Excelsior Springs, MO and 2 grandchildren, Skylar Smutzer and Emmy Bokarae.
