Terry Lee Browning, born on July 8, 1955, in St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Independence, Missouri. He was a beloved individual touched the lives of many his kind heart and generous spirit.
Terry dedicated many years of his life to working for Ford Motor Company before eventually retiring. His strong work ethic and dedication made him a respected member of the community. In addition to his professional achievements, Terry also served in the Army, showing his commitment to his country.
Those who knew Terry will always remember him for his warm personality. He was known to be very handy, a fixer who could tackle any problem with ease. His willingness to help others and his love for his family were truly unmatched. Terry's passion for tinkering and his hardworking nature left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Throughout his life, Terry cherished simple pleasures such as porch sitting, fishing, and trips to the lake. These fond memories will be treasured by all who shared these moments with him.
Terry leaves behind a legacy that will be carried on by his surviving family and friends. He is survived by his daughter Tammy Bowen, as well as two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Sharon Peterson and extended family members and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Lucille (Wilson) Browning, his brother Sonny Wilson and sister Marline Barnes.
In remembrance of Terry Lee Browning, a visitation will be held on May 20 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. The burial service will take place at Mound Grove Cemetery following the services.
May Terry's memory live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Terry Lee Browning.
