Evelyn Ellis Terry

Evelyn Ellis Terry, 88, of Lee�s Summit, MO passed away Friday, January 14, 2005. Services will be 10 am Monday, January 17th at Speaks Suburban Chapel; with interment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the Chapel. Evelyn was born June 29, 1916 in Burlingame, KS to Cleve and Maude Arnold. She was a real estate agent for over 25 years, and owned the Evelyn Ellis Employment Agency in Raytown, MO for 11 years. She was an over 50 year member of First Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Eastern Star Lodge 426. Evelyn sang in the first Sweet Adeline Chorus in Independence, and was a member for many years. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Ellis, and Allen Terry. She is survived by her son, Jerry Ellis and wife Mary of Independence, MO; grandsons, Michael Ellis and Johnny Lee McFall both of Pocahontas, AR.
