William H. "Bill", Sr. Terry

William H. "Bill� Terry, Sr. died July 7, 2005 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10 am, Monday, July 11, 2005 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Indep., Mo.; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Sunday at the funeral home. Bill was born Oct. 21, 1918 in Kansas City, Ks. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II, and worked at the Exide Batteries Plant for over thirty-five years. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, and was a fan of the Royals and baseball in general. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Terry in 2000 and son, Stephen Terry in 1951. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Mike & Angie Terry, Osage Beach, Mo; daughter Julie Toomire; son and daughter-in-law Bill & Cindy Terry, all of Blue Springs, Mo; grandchildren Mike Terry, Ron Terry, Rob Terry, Mike Troyer, Matt Terry, Emily Toomire, Jon Terry, Joe Toomire, and Jason Terry; great-grandchildren Jordan Terry, Dillan Terry, and Nick Luke.
