Judy Mae Teter, of Buckner, MO, passed away far too soon on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. She was 73. The family will receive friends from 3-5pm on Sunday, July 24th. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, July 25th, both at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016. Interment will follow at Blue Springs Cemetery.
Judy was born on June 13, 1949, in Sedalia, MO to Donald Lee and Mary (Neitzert) Prall. She graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1967. On December 11th, 1981, she married the love of her life and best friend, Thomas L. Teter. Judy was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed caring for her home. She and Thomas spent many enjoyable moments just being at home together and caring for her Shih tzu puppies.
She leaves behind her adoring husband of 40 years, Thomas; her son, Thomas (Debbi) Teter, Jr.; grandsons, Anson Teter and Chris Teter; cousins, Tommy Prall and Janice (Harry) Hoover; as well as her puppies, Joee and Willee.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, John Henry and Mildred Mae Prall; her son, Timothy Joseph Teter; and two precious puppies, Wickett and Nico.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association and Sarah Cannon Cancer Center.
