Barbara Thacker, 66, of Independence, MO passed away May 19, 2019. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Thursday, May 23, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. Barbara was born December 20, 1952 in Kansas City, MO to Clyde Lee and Margaret Catherine (Barry) Burns. She was preceded in death by husband, Gerald Davis; and daughter-in-law, Jamey Burns. Barbara is survived by her three children, Robert Burns, Gerri Blum (James) and Cathy Burns (Andrew); sister, Theresa Laffler; two brothers, Skeeter Burns and John Burns; and seven grandchildren, Dylen and Kylee Burns, Jonathan, Trenton and Monica Turner, Oryn Linkhart and James R.
