Donna Jean Thomas, 77 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her residence. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2019 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with burial to follow in Greenton Cemetery in Odessa, MO. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m., until service time Sunday at the chapel. Donna was born October 21, 1942 in Kansas City, Mo to Colvin and Verna Marie (Campbell) Hyatt and has been a lifelong area resident. She had been a wife, mother and homemaker most of her life and enjoyed playing the piano. She was a member of the Country Meadows Baptist Church in Independence, MO.
