Joan Thomas, 70, of Blue Springs, MO passed away November 1, 2017. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Joan was born October 4, 1947 in Independence, MO to Verne L. and June L. (Roberts) McDonald. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Thomas; and brother, Gary L. McDonald. Joan is survived by her son, Adam Singleton; two grandsons, Kyle and Jacob Singleton; brother, Dennis McDonald; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
