Lynda Sue Thomas, 67, Independence, MO passed away Sunday, February 24, 2013.
Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Speaks Legacy Chapels; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055.
Lynda was born November 28, 1945 in Rosebud, AR the daughter of Lee Anderson and Cora (Parish) Martin. She worked as a beautician for over 20 years. Lynda enjoyed fish and camping and loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her loving husband Jim of 50 years; daughter Pamela Sue Overfelt and husband David; grandsons, David Thomas and Bryan James Overfelt; five great grandchildren; brothers, Edward Martin and wife Mabel, and Al Martin; sister, Erma Houston and husband Jimmy; and additional nieces, nephews, and family. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Martin; sisters, Barbara Stumbaugh, and Sybil Forbes; and her parents.
