Gerald L. Thompson

Gerald L. Thompson, 58, of Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2007. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial in Mound Grove Cemetery. Gerald was born August 30, 1948 in Independence, MO to Robert "Earl� and Elsie Evelyn (Thomas) Thompson, Sr. He owned and operated Thompson�s Auto Service on S. Union prior to becoming a Millwright in the local union #1529. Gerald lived life to the fullest and was always surrounded by people. Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Lori (Bowles) Thompson; children Steven Troy Thompson and wife Lisa, Micheal Aaron Thompson, Paula Sue Thompson, "Boogie� Gerald Luther Thompson, Jr., "Joey� Joseph Thompson; 11 grandchildren; sister Virginia Gallagher. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert "Robbie� Thompson.
