Grace Elizabeth Thompson

Grace Elizabeth Thompson, 100, of Independence, MO, passed away, Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Rosewood Health Center. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Mound Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Village Heights Community of Christ kitchen fund or to North Care Hospice. Grace was born August 30, 1903 in Independence, MO to Charles and Adeline (Totty) Tignor. She was a Clerk for Adams Dairy Company, prior to that she had worked for Jackson County and Lake City Ammunition Plant. She was a member of Village Heights Community of Christ and the Ancella Club. She was married to Carl Thompson, he precedes her in death. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Kathryn Harrington of Independence, MO and Josephine Stewart of Leawood, KS; a son Donald Thompson of Cottonwood, AZ; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
