Reeda Jane Thompson, 56, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64052. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. at Freeman Holsapple Cemetery, Collins, MO.
Reeda was born August 18, 1955 in Clinton, MO the daughter of James Clifford “Bill” and Martha Jane (Lewis) Minks. She was a 1973 graduate of East High School in Kansas City. Reeda enjoyed playing guitar and singing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Thompson and her father.
Survivors include her sons; William Keith Kunellis and Nicholas Peter Kunellis and his wife Amy; three grandchildren; mother, Martha Minks; sisters, Susan Minks, Penney Clark, and Nancy Atkinson; brothers Hank Minks, Dick Minks and Cliff Minks; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
