Vicki Thompson

Vicki Thompson, 66, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Kansas City Hospice House. Vicki was born June 5, 1946 in Granite City, IL to parents William and Mary Ellen (Greenhaw) Hill. She was employed by Unitog, a uniform manufacturing company, as a manager in advertising, and was later a researcher in real-estate for Bliss Associates in Kansas City. Vicki leaves behind her husband Terrence Thompson; parents, William and Mary Ellen Hill; daughter, Greer Thompson and her husband Dale Rossen; grand-daughters, Claudia Lynn and Ireland Heather; and a supportive extended family of two aunts and two cousins. Interment services will be private with family at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. There will be a time of gathering for all from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO, 64055. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or Kansas City Hospice House.
