Robert Thorpe

Robert Joe Thorpe, 70, Buckner, MO passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2013. A celebration gathering to remember Bob will be from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, June, 21, 2013 at the Heart of God Fellowship Church; 3720 N. Buckner Tarsney Rd, Buckner, MO 64016. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of God Church. Bob was born September 3, 1942 in Lafayette Co., MO the son of Robert Jesse and Joan (Curtner) Thorpe. Bob enjoyed spending time in south Texas, going to flea markets, and casinos with friends especially Don and Betty Bay. Survivors include his sons, John Thorpe and his wife Donna, Robert Thorpe and his wife Jen; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren; niece Tara Cartmill and great nephew, Jesse. He was preceded in death by his son Mike; sister, Vicky Cartmill and his parents.
