Laura Elizabeth "Betty" Tindall (Welch)

Laura Elizabeth “Betty” Tindall, 89 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Betty was born March 7, 1930 in Independence, Mo to Arthur and Ova (Trimble) Welch. She grew up in Independence and graduated from Northeast High School in 1947. She had lived in California for a number of years and Branson, MO before moving back to Independence. Betty worked as an apartment manager while in California and was an active church member of the Yucaipa, California Baptist Church while living there. She enjoyed shopping especially for shoes. She was married to Gregg K. Tindall for 66 years until his passing in 2017. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Kristy Dillon of Sugar Creek, MO and Debra Pashman of Raytown, MO; a son, Larry Tindall and wife Mary of Republic, MO; a brother, Robert Welch and wife Jake of Sugar Creek, MO; 2 grandchildren, Dawn McFall and Joseph Pashman, Jr. and 4 great grandchildren, Rylee, Logan, Lukas and C.J.
