Tracy Lynne Meador passed away on September 19, 2023, in Independence, Missouri. She was born on July 28, 1968, in Kansas City, Missouri. Tracy was known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family.
Tracy grew up in Missouri and attended Truman High School where she graduated with the class of 1986. She possessed a strong work ethic from an early age and became the manager of a successful dry cleaning business. Her dedication to her career were evident in everything she did.
While Tracy excelled in her professional life, she truly came alive when spending time with her cherished family. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and always delighted in playing with them. One of Tracy's greatest joys was seeing the smiles on their faces as they shared precious moments together.
Aside from her dedication to work and family, Tracy had several hobbies and interests that captured her heart. She had a passion for baking and was particularly renowned for her delicious cookies. The aroma of freshly baked treats wafting through her home brought immense happiness to all who entered. Tracy's green thumb extended to caring for her flowers and plants, allowing nature's beauty to flourish under her loving touch.
Tracy will be remembered not only for her accomplishments but also for the deep love she had for those closest to her heart. Left to cherish fond memories are her daughter Kaycie Lukens, son Patrick Price, significant other Harry Lukens, mother Cheryl Meador, father Leonard Meador, brothers Mike Meador and Jeff Meador, as well as numerous grandchildren: Teddy, Kensington, Aiden, Evelyn, Jayce, and Eric.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4th at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Celebration of Life service will take place the following day, Thursday, October 5th at 2:00 PM at the same location. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor and remember Tracy's remarkable life.
Tracy Lynne Meador has left behind a lasting impact on all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her memory will remain a beacon of love, strength, and cherished moments. As we navigate this time of grief, let us also find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. Tracy's spirit will forever guide us, reminding us to cherish the bonds we hold with our loved ones and to shower them with love each and every day.
