Frank Morgan Travis, a loving husband and father, passed away on Sunday, August 8th with his family by his side. He was 73. Frank was born on October 6, 1947 in Independence, Missouri to Bus and Marcene Travis.
While attending Raytown High School Frank met the love of his life, Kathy. They were married in 1967 and spent the next 54 years creating a life together. His five girls were his pride and joy. He loved family gatherings, tinkering in his building, watching car races on Sundays and going to auctions with his dad and dear friend, Lou. Frank was a collector of model cars and knives. He was a hard worker and spent his entire career as a Sprinkler Fitter with Local 314. He was a member of Aerie F.O.E. 47 and had been a member of the Ararat Shrine for many years as well. Frank’s kind, loving spirit will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his beloved Wife, Kathy; Daughters, Krysti Delk (Tom), Kimberley Starr (Gary), Klover Magdziarz (Joe); Son in law, John McLelland; Grandchildren, Kori, Tyler, Kelsie, Kiersten, Dakota, Tanner, Lexi, Keagan, Taylor and Brooke; Great-Grandchildren, Elanna, Javi and Ella; Sister, Mary Wilcox; Brothers, John Travis and Bus Travis; and beloved pets, Sweet Pea, Maci-Boo and “Cat”.
Frank is preceded in death by his Daughters, Krickett McLelland and Kaci Kobel; Parents, Bus and Marcene Travis; Father and Mother in law, Marion and Ethel June Lohmeier; Brother in law, Buzzy Lohmeier.
A visitation is scheduled on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 2-3pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, MO. Frank’s celebration of life will begin at 3pm.
