Frederick Anton Treffer II, 66, of Waverly, Missouri entered Heaven’s glory on September 15, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Tri City Baptist Church in Blue Springs, Missouri. Fred was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from William Chrisman High School. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. Fred retired from Henkel, an automotive part manufacturer in Richmond, Missouri. He loved the simple country life, enjoyed being with family, riding his recumbent bike, mowing his property, and especially his award winning cross stitching, in which his workmanship was impeccable. Fred is survived by his mother, Abbie Jane Treffer; his three sisters, Marcia M. Buster, Sara J. Treffer, Melanie K. (Mike) Stogsdill; his three brothers, Bryan F. (Beverly) Treffer, Calvin D. (Carolyn) Treffer, Dr. Kevin D. (Connie) Treffer; his nieces and nephews, and many other friends and family who all will miss him very much. Fred is preceded in death by his infant brother, David Evans Treffer, his father, Dr. Frederick A. Treffer, and brother-in-law, Robert G. Buster.
