Stephen Trigg Iii

Stephen William Trigg, III of Independence, MO passed away, Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Cremation is planned with a graveside inurnment to be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to the American Stroke Foundation. Stephen was born June 30, 1940 in Higginsville, MO. He had worked as a meat cutter for a number of years until his retirement in June of 2000 from Price Chopper. In his early life he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors and later in life he enjoyed educational TV such as Discovery, History Channel and was a NASCAR fan. He was a member of the Meat Cutters local union. He is survived by; his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia of the home; his mother, Gladys Trigg of West Palm Beach, FL; 5 sisters, Karen Schmitt and husband Ronald of Lake Worth, FL, Cathie Lynch of St. Petersburg, FL, Linda Trigg of North Carolina, Arlene Burkett and husband Bob and Donna Stephenson and husband Elvin all of Lakeland, FL; 3 brothers, Bruce Trigg and wife Linda Michael Trigg and David Trigg and wife Barbara all of West Palm Beach, FL.
