Elsie Trimble

ELSIE C TRIMBLE
Elsie Trimble, 82, Independence, Missouri passed away November 13, 2012 at St. Mary's Manor in Blue Springs, Missouri. A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday November 24th 2012 at Living Hope Restoration Branch; 2425 S Chrysler in Independence, MO. A private burial service for family will be at Mound Grove Cemetery in Independence, Missouri.
Elsie was born on September 21, 1930 in Moose River, Maine. She graduated from Jackman High School in 1949. She married Archibald Trimble on September 22, 1953 in Jackman, Maine, and was a homemaker. They made their home in Maine until Archie's retirement in 1976, at which time they moved to Missouri to be closer to their daughters. They had 53 years together until his death in 2007. Elsie was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in 1960, and was a faithful member the remainder of her life.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Violet Colby; her husband, Archie; her son, Charles; her brothers, Roger, Gerald, and Roland Colby; and her sister, Ruth (Colby) Talpey. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Trimble, and Brenda Lewis and husband, Ron; three grandchildren, Aaron, Breanna, and Caralea - all of Independence, Missouri; her sister, Frances St. Armand, and husband, Lance of Anson, Maine; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to American Diabetes Association are encouraged; 10580 Barkley Suite 400, Overland Park, KS 66212.
